Emma (she/her) is a cartoonist from Colorado, a lesbian, a Scorpio, a science enthusiast, and an aspiring dog owner. She likes to make comics about messy, funny, horny queer people in love.
She holds a BA in Spanish from CU Boulder (2017) and a Master of Design in Comics & Graphic Novels from the University of Dundee (2019). She was also a 2018 Marshall Scholar. While studying in the UK, she accidentally fell in love and got married and now she's stuck here forever. Emma is the co-creator and illustrator of the GRAND SLAM ROMANCE series, in collaboration with her writer wusband Ollie Hicks. Her next graphic novel Gay Persuasion (also written by Ollie Hicks) is a modern queer retelling of Jane Austen's classic story of longing, regret, and found family, and will be published in Fall 2027 by Avery Hill.
